It may look blue, but the icing here is Purple, this cupcake is from Michel's Patisserie, and it has purple icing because 30c from each cake purchased goes to the Starlight Children's Foundation.And obviously this is the only reason I bought it.

Yes I thought so also, but its probably safer to use hearts, less wastage as less chance of cocking the shape up :)
Derr wrong charity guys. This is for the Children's Hospital Foundations Australia - hence a heart not a star.

I actually checked the website, the Michel's link above actually goes to their community page which I checked, I couldn't find anything on this actual promotion unfortunately.
I'm about 90% sure the signage in the actual store said Starlight Foundation though, because Star Day is approaching.
I'll check tomorrow on my way past.
(Btw, cake was not actually all that nice)
