I had this really weird dream this morning/last night....
For some reason I was at some sort of event where there was a sausage sizzle, but I didn't have one, and when I left, I caught a train to Chatswood Station. When I got there I was searching madly for a sausage sizzle* stand. Chatswood station didn't look normal though, they're currently upgrading it so in my dream it was really new and sort of space age, and HUGE. Like imagine a huge domed roof made of either glass or pale blue glazed tiles with white tubular supports, and there was sort of a mezzanine level around the bottom edges of the dome. There were a million people milling around, and it wasn't just a station, it was also an airport. It had the buzz of an airport also.
So I was looking for the sausage sizzle stand, when I glance out the window (at what should be, by rights, Victoria Mall) and there is a plane, larger than life through the glass, in a nose dive; it was almost vertical, and it slams into the ground, nose first and sort of crumples at the tip. (I remember thinking, in the dream, "oh yes, its falling like that because its empty, if it had freight or passengers it wouldn't be so vertical..."-I don't even think this is true, but it made complete sense in my dream)
So there was a shudder through the ground, and a few people fall down, and subconsciously I figure I need to get away from the area and started running toward the exit (which is Railway Street, which is the only completed section of the refurbished Station I've seen, so my brain has constructed this entire new station from looking at the new entrance) and then the aftershock(?) hits as I'm running away, and there's a blast as everyone is knocked off their feet by the impact, and I remember seeing the little floor tiles exploding as the dirt/earth sort of radiated away from the impact zone.
I think I woke up after this, as I can't remember anymore.
So weird.
*I LOVE sausage sizzles, which could be a reason they feature in my dreams.
11 kindred spirits ~ This bugs them too!:
haha firstly I love the aside about sausage sizzles! MMM love that smell.
And yeah that is a really weird dream! I'd love to hear an actual analysis on that dream ... at this moment it just sounds like you've been watching too much Ghost Whisperer... hold on you weren't running around in a flowy white night dress with full hair extentions, false eyelashes and make up were you?
I had a bit of an odd dream the other night, I was Jessica Alba (why not hey?) and I had just discovered that my baby daddy was Mekhi Phifer (spelling?) who was out playing ice hockey. So I ran out onto the rink mid period with no shoes on and told him that he had to marry me there and then!
So the team coach marries us? and then I start to have the baby...
strange.
Hmmm, you make a convincing argument, facts aside (I don't watch Ghost Whisperer, never seen it before other than on Fug)
Hahahaha I love that you dreamt you'd morphed into Jessica Alba, I don't know who this Mekhi person is though.
Were you cold in bed perhaps?
Nice blog with a lot of thought. :).
I thought I seen a ghost when I spotted your post.
You have a sister?
Interesting dream about the plane, the nose, coming down to earth and it sent you flying. Are you going on a vacation soon to see family or your soul mate?
I didnt read your whole blog, so I do not know if your even married (always wish the best)
Hi e_add2008 I do have a sister, two actually?
Hmm, interesting insight, my husband and I {yep, married :)} ARE going on a large trip later this year, sort of, once in a lifetime type holiday before we settle our lives down, I hadn't really wanted to go there and probe what a dream about planes would mean about my subconscious in relation to our holiday (I'm not a good air traveller)
I thought it might have had something to do with the number of times I've been to the airport recently (seems like heaps) as my sisters have both been overseas, so there have been a few teary farewells and greetings.
My wife and I plan on flying to Veitnam in June, who knows what she's dreams. Wait, she so excited she's not sleeping how can she dream :)) Lot of prep work in vacationing thanks for your insight. I'll be a little easier on her and not laugh so much. (she's ready with the suit cases, already, stress reduction?)
Well thats exciting! Where are you departing from e_add2008, USA?
I think suitcases at the ready may be a bit premature! Oh well at least she's keen.
I hope you enjoy Vietnam, I haven't been myself but have heard its wonderful.
hahaha that's so weird. I often have dreams about places I haven't been, but when I actually go there they are just like my dream and its freaky! I'm sure it's just random info I've picked up subconciously, still...spooooky!
Los Angeles Airport, late June we are leaving for Vietnam. Were are you going to fly off to for your trip?
Thats freaky non-Blondie, maybe you have hidden talents?
We're doing a big Europe + UK trip in September e_add, Yay!
Flying Sydney-London, stopover in Tokyo, I get really nervous flying so I'm glad I'll have my husband to hold hands with/Squeeze the death out of! The parts the bother me most, take-off, tubulence or any other weird movement, landing. Yep.
Awesome, Europe I want to go there someday.
non-Blondie's comment has to be a message to her from above. That is the only explanation I could come up with.
I have something like that, but if it happens its a bad omen for me (we all have choices). I feel I am on the right path if I see things happening, but it goes another direction.
Seeing it right before it happens is saying to me, I better get my thoughts in gear and make those subtle changes in my life, in a hurry. (Laughing is always good, because life is a small part of eternity.)
