Not surprisingly, the new Collette Dinnigan underwear line at Target doesn't feature anything higher than D size.
Bastards.
It really irritates me when that happens. If they do feature DD's its not until the 16's or 18s. HELLO? So I'm a freak am I? I demand the right to affordable, pretty underwear that fits me properly.
I don't think I'm really in the minority, I know lots of other big busty girls who would appreciate the market widening. Or do you think big boobs make friends with other big boobs?
12 kindred spirits ~ This bugs them too!:
argh I know! Why is it that bras always seem to be made for teeny tiny boobless waifs, or super huge Aretha Franklin types? What about the lucky bitches in between who have great racks but need great support (and pretty bras!)?
Exactly non-blondie, why should I be punished for my great rack? I don't want to wear bras that have more fabric than my pants so I can get support!
In my opinion it's those of us with bigger boobs that actually NEED the bras so why don't we have more options?
My Mother is a 10A or something and to be honest no-one would be any he wiser if she didn't even wear a bra! But at the shops there are sooooo many options for her!
Me on the other hand... once you get to DD the bras get all grandma like and unattractive and there are alot less options!
I don't get it?!
Yeah - what is AA anyway? (apart from a battery...)
That's crazy!
Lol, yeah K, stupid Collette Dinnigan!
Arg! Hearing the collective pain!! And I have seen pics of Collette Dinigan, and yes she has no boobs! Many supermodel and fashiony types don't! It's not very chic to have a womanly body apparently. *Sigh* The best bra brand I've found recently is called La Senza in the UK. V good though. They do post to Oz but as we all know, you don't generally invest in a bra unless you've tried it on! You don't if you're anything beyond 12C anyhow.....
Oh yeah, and did I mention "specially designed for 8AA" SCREAMS 'very expensive and completely pointless undergarments for tweens'.... I feel ill at the very thought of 10 year old in haute couture inspired lacy undergarments....
hear hear!! to every single comment!
but is anyone surprised? Not me!
I think we generally resent these bra ranges before they even hit the stores, because we know that its not going to cater for people with a tit to thier name but still we have to go look!
And then end up buying a bra that is suitable for a cows udder.
Yeah, if you're an 8AA, I can't see WHY you need to buy bras. Although in all fairness that might encompass very petite women who don't want to go braless to work.
LMAO Cows udder.
Indeed. AND suffering the indignity of cone boobs pointing the way to under our armpits.
So Emma and K have just admitted to DD, and I get the impression from non-blondie that you have a “healthy set of lungs”. Eca, Re, and Mistress Blogmaster (that what she makes me call her sometimes) I can personally attest to the ample-ness of your bust, which puts a lot of weight behind the theory “big bobs make friends with big boobs”. (although I did not the absence of comments from lou on this blog hehe!)
I’d like to say on behalf of all males, we appreciate you enduring the hardships of full breasts and not taking the “breast reduction” road out of titty town.
P.S. not sure what’s hurting more at the moment – my head from last nights bender, or my ears from watching hi-5… why do I do this to myself? (Hi-5 I’m talking about – I’m quite clear on why I had the bender…)
LOL why thankyou M
Yeah, thanks M. Good to have support from a strange man. lol.
Although my boyfriend does feel the same way.
I couldn't see myself getting a breast reduction (or any elective surgery for that matter) apparently they grow back anyway!!!
Cnn't believe you call her Mistress Blogmaster... I've gotta get my boyfriend to call me PrincesseEmma now...
I can assure you Emma, he's entirely harmless.
{and don't beleive everything you read ;)}
They grow back?! I've never heard that before! So weird!
