This is missing a very obvious entry - that being Harry Potter as written by Stephen King. In which Harry would end up being humiliated at his school prom and then proceeding to violently murder all the wizards/etc by rage-fuelled telekinesis.

Or... (and can you tell I'm bored at work today)... Harry Potter as written by me! In which everyone just has destructive kinky sex with each other and is far too distracted by this to fight evil or make spells or whatever it is they do in those books. Can't you tell I'm a fan?
