Making progress on God.

No this isn't the full post, I haven't finished the book yet. Just a quick word to say this book is very interesting, but I have thrown myself back into it, and I'm about half way through. I do have to devote my entire conscious thought to it to understand some of the more scientific principles however.

Stay tuned for full review, which I'm hoping will do the book justice.
Happy Tuesday everyone :)

hehehe, this book has been sitting in my part-read pile too! Whenever I DO pick it up I get really into it, but I find it difficult getting into the right frame of mind for it. When you're finished you'll need to do a summary of the main ideas for those of us that will probably never actually finish it!!!

I keep meaning to take a squizz at this. Does it feel like it has any merit?

yes I would certainly say it has merit K, and I think its the kind of book that every person would appraoch differently as faith is so personal.
I'd love to challenge M to read it, since he's Catholic, but I don't think he would.

Its also the kind of book I think you really have to want to read, as sharkcrow says, you need to be in the right frame of mind, and I think because its so challenging in subject matter and in content, it would be easy to dismiss.

More to come soon hopefully

Hmmm... me and reading have had a little falling out recently - like for the past 10 years... so i dont think challenging reading, being in the right frame of mind to read, etc is my type of reading... if it's isn't titles "ZOO" or have plenty of pictures of boobs - i'm not really all that interested... Unless it is mafioso - i can almost read that...

P.S. what is our relationship coming to when i only hear about the challenges you are setting me via your blog??

I know you're struggling to read for pleasure dear, that's why I didn't think I would have any success in challenging you to read it.
